Uvita. Could it become a center point for baby-boomers looking to retire in rustic surrounding amongst some of the most bio-diverse areas on the planet? Could it become the business hub for the Southern Zone? Could Uvita rise above the current economic struggles the rest of the country is experiencing?
Well, who knows to be honest but here are some predictions none the less.
Currently, Uvita is experiencing an influx of entry level investors between $75,000 and $230,000 but anything above that is proving difficult to shift. The baby-boomers today seem to be far more budget conscience than they once were. These days everyone wants a deal. Personally, I think its great however the odd time, you get those "out there" tire kickers looking to essentially steal the property for less than 50% of it's appraised value.
Business in Uvita has really blossomed. These days you dont have to go far in Uvita, easily by foot, to find banks, grocery stores, restaurants and even some of the chain stores have moved in including Monge, the major home furnishings store.
In light of the recent surge in commercial activity and along with the, albeit lower priced interests, activity in
, one might consider that Uvita is certainly on the rise however it is as susceptible as the rest of the country to the effects from the global economy and what that can do to shy away investors and tourists alike.
