Summer was quiet. Didn't say much and kept to herself. Suddenly on April 27th of 2010, when summer was least expecting it...rainy season overcame her and forced her in to hibernation for another 8 months.

 

That's right folks, rainy season has officially hit Uvita as the skies have opened up and dumped a healthy serving of rain upon the sleepy little village.

All day yesterday we spent the day touring around Uvita to Ojochal and not once did the rains let up. The rivers swelled making otherwise passable areas, impassible as they changed from their summer colors (crystal clear waters) to a muddy froth. When it rains it really rains here in Costa Rica.
